DESCRIPTION:The gifted students from The Glenn Gould School’s vocal program present their annual fall opera. Peter Tiefenbach returns as Music Director and Derek Boyes directs. Written in 1683 for the court of King Charles II\, this is the earliest known English opera\, based on the classical myth of Venus and Adonis\, which was also the basis for Shakespeare’s poem Venus and Adonis.
