The second Canadian performance of Bach’s Markus Passion, BWV 247, as reconstructed by Robert Koolstra (2017). The Met Choir and Baroque Orchestra are joined by Evangelist Philippe Gagné, and Clarence Frazer as Jesus. Jonathan Oldengarm, direction and continuo. Pre-concert talk by Jonathan Oldengarm at 6:30 pm. Pre-concert organ recital at 7:00 pm. Tickets ($40 in-person; $17 livestream) are available here.
