In TBP's first choral offering of the season, baroque flutes and oboes join luminous voices to express the ecstasy of Cantata BWV 173 Erhöhtes Fleisch und Blut and the euphoria of Cantata BWV 30 Freue dich, erlöste Schar, a two-part work originally written for the Feast of St. John the Baptist and featuring dramatic solos in all voices, including the striking soprano aria, "Eilt, ihr Stunden".
